Our Winter Break this year was spent exploring the Indonesian Island of Lombok, which is next to Bali. We started the trip off at Heaven on the Planet resort on the southern coast. We were the only ones there with no other resorts or dwellings in sight and, despite no AC, was truly heaven on earth. We spent our time there surfing, snorkeling, kayaking and SUPing.
Next, we headed to a smaller island off the north coast of Lombok called Gili Trawangan known for it's SCUBA and sea turtles. We stayed at Manta Dive and all earned our SCUBA certification.
Lastly, we headed back south to Kuta and stayed at Yuli's Homestay. It was a good time cruising around on our mopeds.
Our family xmas present this year was a GoPro and at the bottom we've embedded a movie we put together of the trip.
